About Our School
Who We Are
Coughlan's is a family owned and operated swim centre located in Warners Bay, NSW.
The centre was opened in 1995 by Peter and Leanne Coughlan who, together with Master Coach Les Lazarus, developed a swim program to cater for swimmers of all ages and levels.
The squad structure at the centre ensures clear pathways to enable the development of all levels, from our Transition groups (beginners squad) to our competitive based Bronze, Silver and Gold squads.
Coughlan's Swim Centre hosts the Novocastrian Swim Club, and together they aim to provide support and development for all competitive squad swimmers from mini-novos (under 5yrs) to National Representatives and beyond. This relationship ensures that talented athletes are identified from an early stage, and fed through our medal squads, with the hope to swim competitively at the highest level.
Our Facility
Welcome to one of the largest privately-owned swim centres in NSW! Our facility boasts three indoor heated pools, providing the perfect environment for high-quality swimming lessons and training year-round.
We offer ample seating for families, a spacious car park with easy access, and a charming outdoor café—enjoy barista-made coffee while you watch your child swim! Our beautiful courtyard offers the best of both worlds, with areas for soaking up the sunshine or relaxing in the shade.
For your convenience, we have toilets, showers, and spacious change areas, complete with baby change mats for little ones after lessons. We also provide disability-friendly facilities, including a disabled toilet and shower, as well as accessible ramps for easy entry.
